My Biography
I was born in Kenton, Middlesex and now live on the eastern boundaries of London. At the age of 18 I joined the police force and following 33yrs service I retired in 2011.
Most of my career was served in London although I was lucky enough to travel extensively around the world investigating some serious crime. However London has always been my home and its history my main interest.
I have turned this interest and a desire to learn more about London and its past into a more focused project resulting in the publication of my first book 'Square London' a social history of the iconic London square.
I am a family man having been married for 28yrs and have three children. My interest include watching football keeping fit and of course reading. I am a member of several historical societies and a qualified guide at St Paul's Cathedral.
